Lily Thornton is a Global Partner at CF Leadership, based in New York, where she leads the firm’s Crypto & Digital Assets practice, alongside cross-industry expertise in Marketing, Sales, Commercial & Communications, and Human Resource Officers.
Lily advises on C-suite and Board appointments for global exchanges, fintech pioneers, institutional investors, and emerging digital asset platforms. With deep expertise in cryptographic technologies, digital payments, and blockchain infrastructure, Lily helps clients secure transformative leaders who can scale innovation, navigate complex regulatory environments, and deliver sustainable growth in a rapidly evolving sector. Lily is part of CF Leadership’s Technology Executive Committee.
Prior to joining CF Leadership, Lily held leadership roles at BitPay and Linden Lab, where she managed financial strategy, payments infrastructure, and regulatory risk in virtual and decentralized economies. She began her career in capital markets at JPMorgan Chase, developing expertise in structured finance and foreign exchange, which she now applies to the digital asset space.
