Liam O’Connell is a Global Partner in CF Leadership’s San Francisco office and leads the Venture Capital sector. His expertise is with Board and CEO appointments in the Venture Capital sector, alongside cross-industry expertise in Audit and Financial leadership.
He acts as trusted advisor to global venture firms and early-stage investors, providing input on leadership assessment, CEO succession, and talent strategies to drive value creation and growth. Liam is part of CF Leadership’s Funds Executive Committee.
Prior to joining CF Leadership, Liam held senior leadership roles in the United States at Lightspeed Venture Partners, backing innovative and disruptive businesses in technology, consumer products, and enterprise markets, and at Bain & Company, and Roland Berger, where he was responsible for investment strategy and portfolio optimization.
