Joseph Thompson is a Global Partner in CF Leadership’s Stockholm office, where he leads the firm’s FinTech practice. He brings deep expertise in senior leadership searches across FinTech, SaaS, and digital commerce, with a strong track record in solving complex, cross-border talent challenges, alongside cross-functional expertise in Audit and Financial leadership.
He advises Fortune 500 corporations, high-growth startups, and private equity-backed firms on executive recruitment, leadership transformation, and succession planning. Known for his insight into rapidly evolving financial ecosystems, Joseph works closely with clients to secure leaders who drive innovation, scale, and resilience. Joseph is part of CF Leadership’s Financial Services Executive Committee.
Before joining CF Leadership, Joseph held senior commercial and product leadership roles at Adyen, Intuit, and First Data. His experience spans EMEA, North America, and the UK, and includes scaling operations, launching digital platforms, and leading go-to-market strategies across some of the world’s most dynamic financial technology environments.
